Battle of the Arcades is an in-person, team based competition focused on classic arcade games of the 80's that showcase skill over luck. Teams from around the United States gather for two days in a local arcade to showcase their skills and put up the best scores possible. Game play is streamed live to the internet, along with realtime scoring, for anyone interested in classic arcade gaming to enjoy.
Battle of the Arcades was first held in 2012 and the 2019 installment marks the fifth running of the competition.
